Have just had a Rocker box Gasket changed for the second time! (the other one leaked and needed replacing) unfortunately the engine does not seem ok it seems to be labouring even when just ticking over. Took it for a run and the engine was struggling especially between 50-60 there was a lot of vibration on the steering wheel? Have checked recent post for the same fault and it would seem if it could be the coil pack may require replacing? Would very much appreciate any feed back from Members- not forgetting "Happy New Year"

What engine? EML on?

Were genuine gaskets used?
One would guess a sensor hasn't been plugged in properly... was it running OK before the gasket work?

cant see what the steering has to do with cam seals.
I think you need to go over your work when you changed the cam seals

Michael, the vibration may well be a result of a misfire. I felt mine through the steering wheel too.
Is the juddering worse under load?
Usually they fail again, due to insufficient, or no, cleaning of the crankcase breathers, which causes a pressure buildup and blows the seals.

Depending on where you had the gaskets replaced , some dont even understand the breathers need cleaned let alone where they are ::)...check to see if they cleaned the breathers ;)

Just to add that the Omega I own is a V6 Elite 3ltr and also that the Gasket was the genuine Vauxhall Gasket the garage that replaced it had to do this work twice due to the other Gasket leaking again (no charge to me for second Gasket)

You may find the new GM gaskets MIGHT be salvagable, if taken off, re sealed, and breathers properly cleaned....
Thay have learned half a lesson, by using original seals. Once they learn how to do the breathers too, they should make a good job in future! :)

If a missfire is bad enough it will shake the entire car.
