Title: engine breathing

 hi all
would drilling a hole in the oilfiller cap & puting a pipe in
 help with engine breathing
 any comment would be helpfull

In a word, no! The breathing system is more than adequate as long as it's kept clean.

This - regular cleaning is all it needs.

It'll make no difference other than reduce crankcase pressure. The system is fine as it is.

Doing the above will effectively give you an air leak as the engine casing is connected to the inlet via the breathers.

Some tradesperson did this to a 2.5 omega thinking it would solve the breathing problem ...all it did was blow oil out the drilled pipe exit cos the breathers were never cleaned  ::) ::)
