Title: Be Very Careful Out There
Post by: waspy on 06 January 2012, 20:35:18
Was at work this morning & I was thinking where's Chris he's late!!!! He turned in at around 08:20 & I thought nothing of it until I looked at his Land Rover. Turns out he hit some black ice, spun out, hit the grass verg & tipped it straight on the driver's side, fortunately he'd lost alot of speed, all that was damaged was the Land Rover & his pride. Damaged the wing, door, roof rack & some other parts.
We could see he was still in shock & sent him home with a stiff neck.
A farmer pulled the Landy back on its wheels with his tractor. I've just spoken to him on the phone & his necks very stiff, the shocks subsided now.
We both said he's a very fortunate guy.
So as my header says "be very careful out there".

See, thats the advantage of sports cars. Far more difficult to roll when "using the grass verge and banks" to avoid the ice on the roads.

Isn't that right, Kevin Wood :P ;D

Yep. You can even use the kerbs as brakes when some dozy slapper punts you sideways off a roundabout and it still won't roll. ::)
