Title: Fault code 23

Hello everyone just got a fault code 23 replace servotronic ecu anyone any ideas ?? 8(

Is it 'present'

Can it be deleted and if so, does it come back?

If you clear it, it comes back ?? I was thinking that maybe it meant the servotronic relay ??

What ECU are you reading? I would have thought it would have to be the servotronic ecu to give that code....which personally ive never been able to communitate with using a reader like yours.

the TIS guidance merely states :

Defective component:
K41 Control Unit - Servotronic


Its up behind the glovebox, sure theres a pic in the maint guide and a breaker could supply if needs be.

1st one Ive heard of with an error though!

I (and others) have supplied them to people on request,so presumably they can give problems. Pretty sure it would be accompanied by PAS problems rather than just a fault code though.
Around £80 new from VX iirc, which is rather shockin for a relay. :o

The steering has gone very stiff which is obviously a side effect of the relay being goosed thanks ever so :)
