i nearly did it in bishop Auckland yrs ago but the rope bounced you back so near the crane arm i thought it was dodgy. we used to dive off footbridges into trees going across the A40 when we were young, i would rather do that than a budget jump to be honest

I wouldnt do a bungee unless someone paid me a seven figure sum. The thought of it petrifies me. :o

Exactly.

Anybody who wants to jump off a bridge with an elastic band around their ankle hasn't got all their dogs on one lead if you ask me.

We all like to seek thrills in one form or another I suppose, but that aint my idea of thrilling - just pure unadulterated fear.

I used to work for a tour company there and actively encouraged all my clients to do the bunjee at Victoria Falls as I got paid commissions from the Bunjee company!!  :y  Luckily the worst that happened to anyone I sent there was blood vessels bursting in the eyeballs!!  :o  I never did it myself though!!!  :)

Never felt the need for a bunjee jump and the same with jumping out of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane with a sheet and some string :-X

Oh, Gawd! That brings back nasty memories of the morning after my mate's stag do. The things I let myself in for when under the influence. ::)

As for the bunjee incident - as Ben Elton once said, IIRC - if you will jump off bridges and out of perfectly serviceable aircraft for no apparent reason, you've got no cause to complain if you end up looking like a cagoule full of tomato puree.  ;)
