Title: Putting my MV6 back on the road after being stood
Post by: ChrisWallMV6 on 15 January 2012, 14:40:33
Hi All,

When I needed to MOT my miggy I decided to SORN it and use a runaround vec I have (especially as winter was approaching), so I gave the miggy a few thick coats of wax and parked it at a friends.

Now a number of months down the line I want to get her back out again, as I have little or no experience with miggys what do I need to check?

It's a 3.0 preface manual

Cheers :)

Just check the basics like oil level, coolant level (best check it's not frozen before you start!) brake fluid level etc...
Some people like to disable the fuel pump and coil pack before you fire her up, just to get some oil pressure and make sure there are no nasty noises as she turns over.
