I disagree! ??? Also depends what you're using to charge it with. I've left batteries on charge for days while still connected to the car but I've used a Ctek or a Aldi cheapo inteligent charger. :y

Should be ok, there will be some small current draw by the vehicle systems which will slow the charge rate slightly but should not affect the intelligent battery monitoring systems to much (unless the battery is goosed).
Interestingly, CTEK actualy market thier chargers as being able to be permanently connected and supply leads to do this.
