Title: Remote fob only half working?
Post by: zirk on 18 January 2012, 21:58:54: Started happening tonight can unlock but cant lock or open boot. Swapped battery ok,and I can hear the buttons clicking (even at my age), any thoughts. 2000 Elite.

Opens fine manually with the key so thinking not the motor, but thanks anyway. :y

Is it worth resyncing the fob? At least then you could rule that out?

No not lights, but your not far away, ie, culprit is not that far from the light switch. ;)

Doors closed, boot shut, window, sunroof shut, lights off, keys out, could unlock with both fobs, but fob wouldn't lock up or open boot, could lock up manually using key or opening rear door and locking drivers door from inside.
