The Nokia Telematics thingy or what ever its called (NCDC 2015) is it just a plug in option, with the additional wiring or does it need to be paired etc, with Car Pass?, think I can get a brand newy boxed one from someone (Vx) cheap.
If the answer is no, its just a plug in, fairly sure Ive heard somewhere that it can be used with a 2013 without mods, ie, the Nav Home buttons do the the Call, End Call, true?
Thanks Chris.
Forgot to mention its in Stores listed as an Vectra C item, does that make a difference?

Telematics loom can be made up using a trafic master loom, so no worries there.
It is possible to get a 2013 to work with a telematics, yes.
Unfortunately, the telematics unit in a Vectra C sits at the bottom of the centre console just above the ashtray, whereas the Omega unit goes in the glovebox. It may still work in an Omega, but I've never seen the connections, etc of a veccy unit so can't help much more than that.

And to answer your question, it needs pairing with Tech 2 ;)

Sorry, missed that bit out! ::) :)

Different Bezel on the Vectra C, otherwise functionaly the same.

Ok, thanks all. assuming its from a Vx dealer then it all it needs is the car pass from mine, and it just needs pairing via tech 2?, Im assuming its in del mode from a Vx Dealer?
I thought Vectra C stuff was Canbus?, can someone pair it it for a Mig via a tech 2? and it would work??

the telematics MUST be depaired and you must know your pairing code, to pair it up.
you will have to make the loom

When I dropped the cardboard panel from under the glovebox to replace the C/C fan speed controller
Under there is a Nokia electronic unit about 4"by3"by1/2"
This as I recall connects up to the Nokia phone holder/speaker and the NCDC2013
When I installed this phone (which I removed from my previous Omega)
Which had a CCRT2008
It didn't need Tech 2
The phone works very well with integration/mute etc
If it helps should be easy enough to get the Nos off the Nokia unit

As VXL V6 says, thats an aftermarket Nokia car kit, either wired or Bluetooth.
The factory option Telematics is fully integrated into NCDC, all fully controlled from NCDC or steering wheel. Its also a full 8W kit, so manages to get a signal where all others have long given up. 900Mhz only (so O2/Voda, or their MVNOs)

Thanks now understand what phone system miggy has on board
The in cab loudspeaker works fine for Winifred as she has hearing aids and can't use a mobile
I am assuming that the telematic system almost replicates the phone system built in to the CCRT2008
Which was installed in in my previous miggy along with the Nokia carkit
