Title: Boot lock mechanism

Can not open the boot with switch in side the car

Any ideas anybody

Most of them need to be pressed and held for around 5 seconds before they will open the boot.Have you tried that ?

Mine has had the mod done at some point so opens as soon as you touch it,even when driving along. I have pressed it with my knee a few times and ended up driving along with the bootlid open. ::)

And there was me thinking mine was broken....... til I held it for 5 secs, then bingo, it worked :o ;D ;D

That caught me out as my last saloon opened as soon as I touched it. Learn something new everyday, cheers Albs :y
