can somebody tell me how much work there is electrically?
obviously i know about the start prevention in gear and reverse lights, also what about the engine retarding to change gear or whatever it is? do you have to swap the ecu and key fob blah blah for that off a manual?
thanks

i did it to a mondeo 2.5 auto as the gearboxes crap in them, all i had to do was make loom fit, took out all auto box stuff and put in reverse lights switch, then have to join wires for inhibitor switch, engine ran fine and car still going fine to this day 2yrs on, if i can help i will as you not too far from me

lol adey2 thanks for the offer but your in warwickshire and im up in south yorkshire lol, i'll be fine doing the swap, just a bit confusing with the electrical shoite with all these "connect red/b wire to black/w wire, then splice into black/red on tcm"
thanks

you will need a switch on the clutch pedal to disable cruise control similiar to brake pedal switch and some wiring.. I didnt play with ecu.. mine is 97 pre..

also you have to decide you will use duall mass fly wheel or single mass. I used single mass and have no problems with it.. and new clutch kit is cheaper..
