I watched an episode of Top Gear USA the other night. It was abit weird with the same set, format etc, but different presenters! :-\ Suprisingly enjoyable all the same!! :)
-
woop woop!
the idiot brigade are back lol!
ive watched top gear usa and find it a bit irritating, its basically "top gear" with stupid americans, a shit track lol, annoying accents and the big headed retard that isnt even retarded in a funny way... plus the fact americans say illuminum and they even used the exact same challenger as james mays new land rover but instead they had second hand off roaders and got up that rocky thing that the evogue or whatever it is couldnt
i dont mind watching it while being restrained lol
-
Thanks tunnie , Me and pete shall be watching that :y
-
Yeah Top Gear USA is watchable, its better than a lot of shite like CrapEnders and ChavFactor, but i found it very "flat" trying to do same thing as UK, but failing, miserably.

Yes, I only saw it for the first time last week. I enjoyed the similar format, but really enjoyed the fact that there were no pompous pr***s as presenters.
Enjoyable without the smugness.
I will see what patronizing words of wisdom Clarkson has for us tonight.............
-
Just about to tuck in to my roast chicken, so gonna have it on a tray in the lounge, and fire up the media center
-
Got home from work at 8 pm. Wife watching midwifery 1950,s style (women eh ::)) couldnt be arsed to take my steak & chips upstairs to watch TG, so havent seen it yet. Will have a look on iplayer shortly.
-
Got to say, easily the best car in every way tonight was the Aventador!
One day I would like to go to Imola. Would like to pay my respects to Senna. :y
As for TG USA, I've got to eat a big bit of humble pie here :-[ I've always said I thought it was rubbish based on an episode I watched. Been watching it on one of the SWMBO's Sky channels and I have to admit I actually like the dudes even though they are completely and indubiotably ripping our TG off... even with the EXACT same challemges!
-
Agree with you steve.
Very enjoyable episode tonight. Proper funny when hammond broke down and that useless recovery driver came ;D
Mind you i was surprised at what the series is going to be showing. saw some rather tasty new cars getting smashed up :o

I enjoyed tonight's episode, best for a while and much better than the India special :y
-
I've heard people moan about the India special. I loved it. ;D
-
Yep, normal service resumed from TG - thoroughly enjoyed it. :y
Wonder how much it costs the Beeb to insure those three ragging three super cars around Italy!! I imagine there were a few expensive repairs to be done when they were handed back, especially to the Noble! ::) Loved the bit where Clarkson and Hammond floored them going through the tunnel - I remember when my mate had a replica AC Cobra and we were on our way to a custom car show, had three Cobra's side by side going through Hatfield tunnel at full chat.....what a sound! :y
Thought Will.I.Am was a bit boring - clever bloke but no personality.

Anyone spot the famous ex F1 Team Principle lurking around in the background? ???

Flavio ??
-
Nope! :)
-
Ron Dennis ?
-
Yes! :y It was when they were at the big circular track and Clarkson and May had teams from Lambo and McClaren supervising. Ron Dennis was in the background wearing a pair of sunnies. They zoomed in and out on him very quickly! :y

I'm not surprised, as Ron Dennis is now head of McLaren sportscars division he was probably making sure May didn't wreck his car! ::) ;D
