Hi Everyone
I'm looking for a home for my Staffy. She is 8 years old, very friendly and a bit overweight. She likes walking, people, cats and especially kids. She is a bit wary of other dogs bit gets used to them after a while.
I moved into a flat and we are not allowed to have dogs. It's very very sad for me.
If anyone is interested or knows anyone that might be then let me know.
Thanks very much. :'(

Yes she is a very clean dog. Even here at the flat she goes to the door when she needs to go, then we go down in the lift and she does her business outside.

Her name is Maisy.

If it helps i'm a doggy person & have met Maisy when Kate was still in Sunderland. She's a lovely good natured old girl who just likes a fuss.... Maisy's nice too!!!!!
Joking aside if i could take her i would but my lifestyle means i could'nt look after a dog properly. Staffies get an undeservedly bad press but correctly looked after are incredibly loyal loving companions. Guy.

Staffs are apparently now the most unwanted dogs in Britain. 75% of all dogs at battersea are now staffs.

so staffy's arent a status symbol anymore then?
they are a damn sight better than them poxy things in dresses etc that are carried in handbags grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr >:(

She has always been very quiet at first when she has stayed with people. She has been pretty quiet here since we moved into the flat. I think she is a bit sick of moving.
It will probably take a couple of weeks for her to open up and be herself again. Taking her out for walks and offering tasty treats will help. The trick to get her to start eating is to offer her something she really likes like a biscuit or something sweet. Once she initially eats something she will be fine. We took in a stray cat along with our cat Lucy that we already had & it was really nervous round Maisy at first but he quickly got used to her. Lucy was the boss in our house & kept Maisy under control!
I hope your cats are alright Jon.

Yes! Well done to that man. What with so many animals being abandoned these days, it is indeed a good ending. :y :y :y
