Title: Time to be brave
Post by: Gaffers on 02 February 2012, 19:46:04
With the missus away I think this is the perfect time to do something I have wanted for a long time....

I have ordered someone to come around to my house and deliver 2 servings of pleasure....

On the phone she said that I could have whatever I wanted........

I will have to pay, unfortunately....but it's worth it for.......................

GARLIC BREAD!   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Close your windows and get your air (and car) fresheners out, I am going to see if my gut has calmed down and I can start eating garlic again  :y

Top cheffing tip - go to Asda, get a block of butter, a tube of garlic puree, and some parbaked rolls.

Mix up some garlic butter, then slice the parbaked rolls and smear a load inside. Bake. Enjoy.

Well it seems my dice with death was pretty none eventful.  I shall have to try some more garlic this evening and see what happens.  If it turns out that I can eat it again I will be over the moon, you have no idea how difficult it is not eating garlic.  It's in:

Ketchup
Gravy
Stock (an ingredient in just about anything)
Most soups
italian food
Curry
Chilli
the list goes on....but needless to say I have to make everything from scratch.
