Title: Omega Sun Roof
Post by: GT on 03 February 2012, 08:04:41
Hi ,

I have a Y reg, 2.2 Omega cdx estate, which i bought a few weeks back, but i cannot get the sun roof to operate, when you put the lights on too there are no lights from the sunroof comsul either

I have checked the fuse under the dash, and seems good.

Could someone explane to me how to check if the motor or switch is working.

If anyone knows, please explain in simple terms as i am a complete moppet  when it come to stuff like this, but i need to learn

Regards

Silly question but have you checked that the roof motor is connected, may have been unplugged due to "phantom sunroof syndrome"
Mini facelift & facelift are commonly referred to as Omega B

Facelift is from `99 on. Different interior, window switches on doorcards, front grille incorporated in bonnet, cosmetic changes in & out.
Yours is a F/L

If your grille forms part of the bonnet (being a "Y" it should) and your window switches are on all 4 doors, it`s a facelift

All info is in the posted link :y re; roof opening & closing of it`s own accord. Bulb pulls out once access is gained
