Title: Chris Huhne
Post by: Rods2 on 03 February 2012, 12:42:59
No roth like a woman scorned!  :o

Chris Huhne and his ex-wife have both been charged with perverting the course of justice.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-16866127 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-16866127)

Windbag Huhne claims all a terrible misunderstanding and will stand down while he clears his name!  ::)

I yet to hear any MP not make a similar statement before they have been convicted, such are the standards in political life. It will be a first if he is innocent and found innocent as I've never known an MP once charged not to get convicted.

John Stonehouse was so stupid, he didn't realize you are meant to get your conviction, before you go to Australia.  ;D ;D ;D

Well, that one waste of space out of parliament. How many more have we got to go, again? ;)

Sadly this imbecile person is my local MP. I don't know if he is guilty or not, but I hope he goes and I really hope the dimwits of Eastleigh will finally elect a candidate from Labour, Conservative, communist or even fascist, better still someone from the monster raving loony party. As these dam liberals have been in charge of Eastleigh for ever, and have not done one dam thing to improve the area. All they do is build more new houses and offices. We have no infrastructure improvements at all.

Has he resigned as an MP or just from the cabinet ?

I hate liberals, I hate liberals, I hate liberals, I hate liberals, I hate liberals, I hate liberals, I hate liberals.....................................

Rant over, can now smile again  :)

Yes, I'd certainly agree with that - furthermore, it makes him all the more dangerous should he be denied ministerial office in the event of a conviction (assuming he remains as an MP) as he will be freed from the 'Ministerial Guidelines' ??? to follow his own agenda.

In my view, the Liberal Democrats are much too dangerous a group to hold office, never mind government.

Christ help us if they ever achieved unfettered power.

As a final thought, while it's welcome that such a perverse 'environmentalist’ has been ousted from high office, there are plenty of others waiting to take up the reigns - reigns that will ultimately be responsible for driving this country off the track and into the mire; all done, quite inexplicably, in the name of environmental awareness and in blind adherence to a deeply flawed, legally binding, unilateral policy.

Like, WTF?

Yes, sadly no shortage of idiots waiting to step up in replacement, particularly from the Limpdems who have never had to worry whether any of their policies had any practical use, and who see no signs of starting now they have a hand in government. :(

This has made me so very happy. I detest the bloke. Even by the standards of Westminster,he is slippery, dishonest, arrogant etc.
Most of his colleagues cant stand him,as he is forever stabbing them in the back and briefing his favourite Grauniad journos against them. He is lower than a snakes bollix in a cart rut.
I sincerely hope he is found guilty and spends some time behind bars.

I also can't stand is that stupid green fool that is the MP for Brighton. Wetter than the Atlantic Ocean and more dense than granite. People like her and windbag Huhne, the fool Harriet Harman and two chins Prescott are so dangerous, as like parrots, they can learn the words, but they don't have the faintest idea what they mean or what their actually talking about and doing.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

The amount of money Prescott wasted and is continuing to be wasted in many cases is staggering. An example is the compulsory purchase of whole districts of sound Victorian homes in Liverpool and other northern cities, against the residence wishes, that Labour could then not afford to redevelop, so they are now sitting there empty. Another example, Blair's personal M4 lane into London.

This country is suffering as a result of the old system of the fool in the family becoming a priest, now they do the only work experience they are ever going to get in the real world at Shell garages near Brackley before becoming politicians.  :o :o :o

You and me both pay the price through the outrageous 52% GDP that the Government currently spends through a process of legalised robbery taxes and the deficit (you children's, grand children's and great grand children's bill to pay as some of the bonds, don't expire until 2060) is an absolute disgrace, but where you seem a constant stream of businesses relocating to more competitive places in the world, youth employment is 25% and is only going to get worse.

I'm far beyond help Aa, so in resigning myself to that fact, I'll gladly pass on anything that Ms Price wishes to accept.

And in the interests of balance, I’ll also trim anything that Ms Trimingham needs trimmed. :-* :-* :y

I think a life of celibacy would be infinitely preferable to either of those options! But I suppose that's easy for me to say - I've already made my peace with that life choice.

.. and she clearly doesn't make up for it with grey matter, given that she's stitched up her ex-husband, and in the process landed herself in the same can of worms. :D

the trouble is also that we all may possibly know of people in our own spheres of life who have taken the points for someone else (in genuine ignorance of the potential legal consequences)- we do not get indignant and righteous and shop them because of our views on the peverting of the course of natural justice
