Title: outside temp sensor

Was reading high so fitted new sensor.Still wont go below 4c. Well below that.Anything else I can check?

Tried several replacement sensors to address the bizarre readings I was getting from mine (-40 one day). Turned out to be corrosion in the wiring loom close to the multi plug. You'll find this mounted on a clip near to the horns at the end of the fog light loom. I found one wire in particular was broken, so bypassed this either side of the multi plug. It's a common fault.

just because new doesnt mean working im afraid  :(
but due to salt and crud getting in and around the multiplug check that first  :y

Usual places for broken wires are areas where loom separates, for example area where leads for fog lights come out of loom...
