Hi,
I am looking at going for a 2.2petrol Estate and although there are official MPG Figures out there i was wondering if any one could give me a rough guideline from real life driving?
I will mostly be doing a 60mile motorway run daily.
Thanks in advance for any advice! :y

Hi i own and drive a 2.2 with a manual box i found that around town my consumption is quite high not sure as to how high not sure i really want to know even, how ever i do a fair bit of traveling up and down the motorway and i am more than happy with around 34.5 at above motorway speed limits. :y

I own a 2.2 auto and i am currently getting 23 around town start stops, and on a 48 mile round trip to work and back i get 33 mpg, but i'm sure if i put my grandad slippers on i may get more. Hope that helps

Once on a long motorway run i got 37mpg :o :o
Round town and normal day to day stuff usually about 27 mpg :(

I have just brought an Omega 2.2 auto estate, and to be frank, yep the petrol gauge does drop when you are moving along, but i dont think it not too far off my volvo s40 1.9, but the what a lovely drive you get for £6 a gallon...
