-
Xenon lights with elevation control on the dashboard? Thanks for the heads up Scott :y
-
only if i could warn the bidders on it. Shame >:(
-
What if you put something in the area for questions to the seller ???
-
Could he have possibly fixed all the faults before re advertising though :-\
-

good idea but the seller has the choice whether to make it public or not :(
-
Wouldn't hold your breath about eBay doing anything about it ???
-

I doubt that, why would he put it on ebay with all those problems in the first place without saying about the probs...
-
I have asked the question if its the same car, lets see if I get a reply
-
Cheers was only looking at that car today and thought how nice it looks....seller has 100% feedback with over 900 sales.....just goes to show.... 8)
-

Surely thats why the feedback system is there. How come he's got 100% feedback, didn't you leave any?
I bet its one your bidding on and want to get it cheap so your trying to put people off :P ;D
-
the system has changed so it's almost impossible to leave negative feedback.......
for example, I "sold" a Mac Laptop before Xmas.
for which i never got paid.....
the buyer just dicked me about.....
however, because of the system , i could only leave positive feedback, or no feedback at all.
disrathersgusted or what... ?

I already bought my omega.
if you click on hes 100% feedback he has a neg : Car is riddled with electrical problems and still not received warranty.
Also click on page 2 of he's feedback and your see more, Another neg on page 3 of he's Feedback , So how the hell can he have 100% feedback
ask him a question to see if it has oil in the water. like to see he's response

Feedback % is only for the last 12 months,AFAIK. A seller can be riddled with negatives prior to that.
-
I complained to eBay about a seller and he ended up being removed from eBay...
If he is miss selling I'm sure there are laws against it???

Its one of the better changes that egay have made in the last few years.
It was stacked too much in favour of the sellers before this change (made probably 3 years ago ;)), this mostly eliminates duff sellers holding the buyer to ransom.
Mind you, selling laptops, even useless crApple ones, is a recipe for disaster - many here will know my rules, no small, high value electronic items. Including craptops, gayPads and phones. You will get scammed.

now at £2,299.00
You're looking at A N Other car .................... ::) ::) ::)

Now it`s heavily biased towards the buyer, not so much "caveat emptor" but "caveat venditor"

Indeed.. some bloke 'bought' my Nissan last Thursday, sent a message that night asking for my number & address. Gave him my number and said to call me to arrange collection.
Saturday he sends another message asking if he can come Monday (today) or Tuesday. Yes I say, either, just let me know, and gave him my number again.
And then.. nothing.
Grr.

if selling a car on ebay always demand a non returnable deposit paid by paypal at the end of the auction, never ever take the phonecall and agree to let the buyer pay all of the cash on collection, a non returnable deposit makes buyers think twice :y

So when the car is "sold" and the deposit is not forthcoming, if you contact e-bay you`re pi$$ing in the wind.
One example, missus sold an item on there, only £7 incl. the postage so standard 1st class was used as opposed to "recorded". Received a message from e-bay 7 weeks later saying buyer had opened a "item not received" dispute and a hold was put on my Paypal account. Who keeps a bloody standard PO receipt for 7 weeks >:( :(. Outcome was, I had to refund the £7 to release my account. Whenever I sell anything on there now it goes "recorded" delivery

Just had a look at his feedback...to see if the buyer of the Omega had left any..but to my surprise i see he has re-listed a 2004 AUDI A6 S-LINE that sold for £7,100.00 a week and a half ago,the buyer left this feedback =CON MAN ! - OIL IN WATER - TRY SELLING ME ANOTHER CAR - DONT BUY FROM HIM & RELISTED CAR IMMEDIATELY - PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE ROMANIA SELLERS.....
but people are still bidding on it,its up to £4,280.00 and still has over 3 days to run,so not every one reads feedback..

The other 2 neg feedback' ares electrical problems & lack warranty paperwork.
How many V6s here could be knocked back for 'oil in the water' due to a bit of mayo around the filler neck? :-\ :-\

I would only buy a car from ebay if it was spares or repair and i had a rough idea what it needed..but maybe thats because im a tight arse,i have sold a few cars and a lot of bikes on ebay but i always offered warranty and full 30 day return, but then i did own a bike shop and sell all the trade in bikes on there... :y
