Title: Insurance

After surfing the web a few weeks ago i thought i got the best possible cheapest insurance quote ...only went TPFT , 7 yrs no claims and they wanted £450 ....i tried transferring my old policy to the new car and they wanted £800 TPFT .
A letter from another insurance came through today saying they have good deals so i phoned them and i have FULL COMP protected for £400  now and less eccess :o :o :o :o    Rip off blighter's wanting £800 but thats nothing , the meercats wanted up to £1600  >:( >:( still guess they have to pay for them woolie toys somehow  :-\

Seems insurance has become a minefield. And worse I have found is fully comp is now cheaper than TPF&T. How does that work ?
Also  have found with 18 year old sons insurance it is cheaper for him to insure a car upto 3 years old than a 10 year old similar spec car (Astra) how the heck does that work.
