Title: Advice and/or help
Post by: bootie on 12 February 2012, 14:07:44
Hello everyone.

Some of you may know I had a bit of a shunt a few weeks ago at home in Spain.
Anyhoo, the upshot of this is that I have bought a 1/2 estate that had been semi converted into a trailer. I have arranged for that and various other parts to be uplifted and taken to Spain as spare parts over there are horrendously expensive.
It gets a bit complicated as to the why's and wherefors but, what I'm after is anyone with local knowledge of a recovery company in the Peterlee, County Durham area that would be able to uplift the trailer onto a flat bed then liase with the truck that is going to take it back to Spain so that the trailer can just be pushed onto said transport.

The chap I bought the trailer from has no idea of a local recovery company as he has never used one so I am asking on as many forums as I can in the hope that someone will have that much required knowledge. I realise it's Sunday but I would need this info PDQ as the chap with the UK/Spain truck has already departed and is heading for the ferry as we/I type.

Hoping for a positive response.

Cheers

Jon

Just in case anyone was wondering, managed (with the help from  TC member) to get a recovery company to uplift the trailer and they should be loading it onto the lorry heading for Spain in a few days time.

Beamish never replied to my email enquiry..... but did findd a local firm near to peterlee so not a great cost.

Thank you
