hello,
where can i get the circuit board from for the keyfob part of the key on a facelift?
the second key needs the PCB replacing inside the fob
do you have to buy the full blank keyblade and fob section from a dealer? price?
thanks
alex

I think the internals are around £35 ish plus vat from a dealer, and need tech2.
-
ok thanks for that,
if i buy a second hand keyfob, can it be programmed to my car with tech2?
thanks
alex

Yes pal, don't see why not. That's what I'm hoping anyway as I plan to do that very thing ;)

I brought two new fobs complete with circuit boards and new i.d.card for my car...he also reprogrammed them to my car and it cost me £160...... :y
-
You'll need a car pass to get them paired.
What's wrong with the PCB?
Usual suspects (knackered buttons or battery holder) are simple to repair.
-
In my case, it's purely because I don't have a spare key at all :-X

About £25 + vat for 3 button fob for alarmed facelift.
Carpass reqd, along with tech2. Note, although some fobs look identical, there are a few different, incompatible types...
Blade with transponder, less than tenner for egay.

thanks for the replies...
the pcb is "beyond repair".... it's gone for a walkabout, either before or during its time with the trader i got it off lol, i have a 2nd keyblade with transponder and half the keyfob bit lol!
