Hi can anyone help solve this. I have recently changed one of my headlights and since doing this the light seems to adjust it self as im driving. When static it is about the right level but as i drive along its aim drops low making seeing at night abit tough. I have checked and light inside is nice and solid. Any ideas how to solve this problem i still have the old light and was wondering if could change the level adjuster. The car has a level wheel by the light switch inside car. It is a 52 plate 2.2cd

have you checked that the adjuster motor is in right.
take it out if it pops out then not in right, it has to be cliped in to the arm in side the light.

Yeah think its all ok as had the light apart to fix adjusters and gave it a good clean. Will double check. Thanks.

The light aim moves fine when using the aim adjust wheel.

i think i would do what you have already suggested and swap over the adjuster motor from the old light to the new just for elimination purposes, possible faulty motor or wiring which is causing the motor to operate with the vibration of the car whilst driving :-\

this may not be the same but one time when i got my new head lights there was a piece snaped of inside the light and when driving it mad the light go up and down all over the place, sent it back. if you tap the light see if it moves a good one will not.

How did you fix - replaced the shattered piece?

Thanks for all the help. When i got the light it had a broken adjuster so i replaced it with the one out of the old light. All light nice and solid as it should be. Will take a look at old unit and see how the adjust motor comes out. Many thanks.
