thats not wot i was calling it,got it out in end,having a rest now got to work tonight so if ill pull the braket up on the transfer pipe it should release out of thermostat housing,cant pull out as the dipstick tube is in the way,just for the record if this needs doing again im not doing it!

Because as you've found out for yourself it can be a right B*st*rd to get at ;D You may need to twist the transfer pipe backwards and forwards quite a bit to get it to release :y

I found it wasnt too bad a job to get it out.Getting it back in though........ ::)

they spend a good 2 hours for that when I was sucessfull at the second trial.. ;D or I was lucky ???

I find the facelift B bolt easier to do than the Pre and mini facelift ones

ohhh nooooo broke the bracket now on transfer pipe still not come out though,and my swear box is full up.

I did two stats weekend just gone...
A 3 litre one, was a bit fiddly
a 2.6 one, peice of wee wee...
I am travelling from luton to hampshire on saturday. Might be able to pop in between cambelt jobs to lend a hand...

thanks james,spoke to andy pipe not due into england till friday,so have to ring him monday,so wont have pipe here.plus i might of calmed down by then.
