how do i get the front ashtray to stay shut i push it shut and it opens again :( :( :( :(

If it closes fully then opens immediately Ralf, it`s knackered

take it out and check that the locking mechanism hasnt snapped off  :y
another reason could be that something is stopping it close fully and lock  :y

i will have to take it out i think some one took it out and didn't put it back tidy if not i will have to get one

Lift out the "ash" tray, one screw in the middle at the back

Raif, it could be that the 'tray' isn't sat correctly into the hinged portion. ;)

It's probably the poxy little plastic locking pin snapped off! >:( I hope whoever designed that particular piece of shite has had galloping Gonorrhea ever since!! ;D

probally the same person who designed the headlight adjusters, the b@st@rd bolt, removal off a double din radio without the fascia coming off,getting to the heater matrix etc etc etc if different people hope they all have galloping gonorrhea  :y
