Following on from favourite car thread.. (was posted incorrectly in other thread - sorry)
Worst: Mine was a Wedge - Austin Princess. First car, was desperate (very desperate) and bought a trade off. My my, it was awful. :-[

1986 Toyota Camry Turbo D,anything that could go wrong did and bits cost a bloody fortune, shame as it was a lovely drive when it worked
-
A toss up between a Ford Crapi and a Ford Sierra. Both pretty reliable, but utterly dull, characterless, uninspiring cars to own and drive. My Viva used to eat clutches and gearboxes but it was my first car so I loved it anyway.
-
A Mk 2 Fiesta Ghia which I bought in the dark. Utter shite
-
By a country mile .........Citroen Xantia .
Got it new in 1993 and when it was delivered I couldn't fit in it .My head was hitting the sunroof .
It turned out that the car I test drove was a RHD Euro spec with no sunroof and different seats.
In the 70K miles I had to drive it it frequently ran away after the front discs cooled and allowed the handbrake to slip , caught fire twice when radio cassette loom shorted , suffered squeeling front discs from day 1 to end , regularily had to have the suspension repaired when it bounced like a hard rubber ball plus due to the seating position I had to adopt gave me a pain at the bottom of my spine that I still suffer from......
All in all the biggest piece of siht I ever drove.

Austen Allegro..Bought as a stop gap and ended up spending more time repairing it than driving...Not a great car IMHO ;D

And I'd thought I'd be the first one to post it up! ;D Austin Allegro 1100S, although actually.. I think the Rover Metro 1.4D was worse, by a long shot (especially after I stuck it in a ditch :-[)

Fiat Strada 65CL :-[

FSO Polonez

Think that award goes to a Fiat Panda. Bought off a guy in a pub for a round of drinks. To be fair it was reliable. Gave it to a friend who drove it around for a couple of years.

2.0 V4 ford corsair..... even sticking a 3.0 V6 in it didn't make it good....
biggest disappointment, the 2.8i Capri my wife bought me for my 30th birthday as a "fun" car....
what a crock of shite.... especially in comparison to the Sennies i drove normally at the time,.....

Morris marina 1.3
mobile rust bucket(when it worked)
-
Montego Estate, auction buy, turned out to be an ex taxi, smelt of old dogs, gearbox, clutch, engine, severe bag of rubbish.
-
1973 Austin 2200 6 cyl land crab - rust bucket plus short pistons led to crap engine that expired at 50000 miles.

Mk 5 cortina ...utter rust bucket and electrics that played havoc ::)
-
anything front-wheel drive.
-
Fiat 131 2ltr twin cam supermirafiori :o
Had it 8 months and in the end it resembled the flintstones car i.e no floor whatsoever.
-
Desperate for a car some years back i bought a Yugo Zastava......a complete shite box copy of an old Fiat.....in green :-X Think i'm level with Murphs FSO at moment ;D
-
I say the lowest level car : Trabant 601 :y 650cm3 , made in East-Germany I used it at the end of 90' yrs...Trabant made from paperback and if sat in more than one man it was very weak then . ;D ;D ;D
-
For me it was the Princess wedge shaped thing, was a company car when they first came out, going down a bumpy roed the suspension sounded like a hammer on the floor going mad , dreadfull car glad when it went.
-
Austin Maxi first car owned. I spent more time walking in the middle of the road picking up bits and pieces that seemed to fall of at the site of a bump can look back and laugh now.

I suppose I can consider myself lucky in never having had a car I don't like. All my car's have been good and reliable unless driven stupidly in my youth.
I suppose the only real lemon was a 1972 ford granada 3litre. The stupid nylon/plastic timing wheel failed and destroyed all the rockers. It was fixed and I got rid of it. Few months later had police knocking on my door, car had been used in robbery/burglary :o
-
My worst car but, I loved it as it was my first car, was a D plate fiesta. Nick named Fester as it was a total rust bucket.
Last seen on it's side in a car park when someone nicked it's exhaust! :o
-
worst car....austin A40 farina (1966). was held together with P38 and mars bar wrappers. :o
it got sent to journeys end scrappy in derby.
-
Unfortunately I have more than one.
Ford Orion 1.6 diesel. Shitreon Xantia diesel. Rover 800 diesel (only hated it, because it was red). MKII Escort (piece of crap).
-
Morris Minor 1000 in cream. Hated it, the boot was just big enough for a toothbrush - not the toothpaste too. . .just the brush . . . >:(
