Folks; our Omega has gone to the scrapyard, RIP.
Just wanted to say a massive thank-you to everyone on here who's helped me over the last few years. It was always a challenge keeping it going; but without the enthusiasm, knowledge and sheer willingness to help/advise of dozens and dozens of members that have answered all my questions, it would have been impossible for me.
If nothing else, owning a Vauxhall Omega has taught me a great deal about car maintenance and repair. I consider these very valuable skills, both in financial terms and the satisfaction that goes with "I fixed it". :)
I probably won't disappear entirely from OOF, as I do enjoy helping out others where/when I can.
Thanks everyone!

Sad day when your Omega goes. Mine will shortly be going to the scrapyard once I have removed parts. Great shame as it drove really well. I still intend to be a forum member even though my daily driver will be a (cough) Vitara.
Stick around.
I might one day own a 2,5 Dti manual on a Spanish plate or even Omegatoys tractor if I can get it for £300!! ;D ;D
