Title: FAULT CODES

I HAVE JUST DONE A FAULT CHECK ON MY OMEGA 2.2 CD PETROL AND IT CAME UP WITH  P0170 AND I DONT  KNOW WHAT IT MEANS ANY IDEAS

That code is for rich/lean exhaust ....
I've had this code in the past ... can you read live data for 02 sensors and maf ?

It really needs put on a tech 2 or similar to have the live data readings for 02 sensors and Airflow meter looking at.
Mine turned out to be a faulty airflow meter but please dont start replacing parts willy nilly until properly diagnosed .
Could be a lot of things such as an air leak or faulty airflow meter or 02 sensors.
Is that the only code showing ?

YES AT THE MOMENT I HAVE RESET THE MENORY CAUSE I GET THE CAR WITH THE SPANNER ON AND OFF AT TIMES THEN NOW AND AGAIN I GET THE ENGINE MANGERMENT COME ON THE OFTER A WHILE IT GOES OFF

The " Car and Spanner" light is for engine or gearbox electronics problems or if it flashes when starting the car i believe the immobiliser .
The orange "Engine Light" is for the emmissions.
What are you using to read the codes ?
Can it show any live data ?

Hopefully there will be someone near by with the ability to read live data for you ... i would but im a bit far away. ::)
