Well. I've been quite happy with my Omega since I bought it.
I particulary liked the tidy bodywork on it. That lasted for oh, about 3 weeks :(
I was going to threat it to a nice wash today. While waiting in line for a free space at the carwash,
the lady in front of me starts backing up.
I thought "she must surely notice Im behind her". I had just enought time to think, "s**t, she doesnt see me",
and put my hand on the horn before there was a loud bang.
Heres the result:

At first she insisted the only damage was to my license-plate.
Doesnt show too good in the pictures, but the front of the bumper is pushed in about 2cm.
And then theres the damage to the lower grills and plastic trim under the headlight.
Sucks, but atleast her insuranse have to pay up.
On a happier note, I got my window shade set on monday:

Not the best pictures here either, but theres a big difference to the appearance of the car...

That is bad news :( but at least you should get a new front end on.... :y The tints look great... :y :y

Women drivers - the same the world over :) ;)

Aah, now, the window 'shades'. Are these the mesh type that clip in and pull out, where you can wind the window down but the mesh stays in place?
Did you get them from Palm automotive?
Or are these tints by film?

Its the mesh type. Got the same on my other car as well, and love them.

Got these from Vanstyle, but I think its the same company as Palm?

Yeah, I got a set for our Zafira, absolute must over in Spain. Thought they were brilliant. Now I know they do them for the Omega I will get in touch. What was the price? Somewhere round the 80 quid mark, yes?
I think it is comparabel to pre cut film tints in price but a lot less hassle.
Vanstyle it is then.
Cheers for that.

Oh yeah and such a shame about the bump. feel for you. Hope you have as good a result from the insurance as I did for my Carlton over here in Spain!
-
Thanks. Think I paid around 85 quid for it.
Alot less hassle than tint, and they can be removed in seconds
if visibility in the dark is important. I never bother though.
Keep them on during the dark winter months just because they look good :P

That's the same price we paid for the Zafira....good. On the website now.
