Title: AR35 wanted
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 24 February 2012, 23:54:07
I am seeking an AR35 gearbox in 100% perfect working order, with no remains of thrust washer in the sumps, for a reasonable (but fair) price. Can collect within reasonable distance.

Cheers,
James

if is for your car make sure you buy of 3.2 not 3.0 as you can be not happy after fitting
3.2 and 2.6 have different solenoid to one in 2.5 and 3.0
just check with sassanach before buy one

i know a member on here has one knocking around his shed. thrust washer is not an issue as you have to strip the box that far anyway to change the bell housing.

yup .. and so is mine .. and if I want a specific gear I select it .... if I want to be a hooligan I select 2nd and sports mode .... and leave it there .. now as long as you don't look at the instant fuel consumption that is FUN !!

All the fun of a manual when you want it .. and the convenience of an auto when you need it ... seeemples .. :)
