I am not sure if these models have a priming pump. hope someone corrects me.

If it does i would first check the pressure to main rotary pump.

I have just checked on Autodata that the 'Fuel main pump delivery pressure' should be 16bar

Also a side not i am a mobile mechanic and am heavily involved and active members with other car clubs and forums.

i have one of these too for my bike. uncut. with a folding error by the mailing machine. i use it as a note pad. complete with coffee stains. how much can i sell it for

the vin plate on your car will tell you the max front/rear axle weight. half these and you will know what the manufacturer indents on each corner. make sure your tyres match or exceeds these weights.

speak to any race engine builder they will say that the MAX you cab get on a normally aspirated engine in 100BHP per ltr.

So a 2.6 should be no more than 260BHP (at a bloody hard push) but yes will require a lot of work at a cost of at least a couple of grand.

Some how I do not think the police will do that.

Police spec cars use same engines as road cars but the cars are lightened. maybe a slight remap but thats all.
