anyone got one, seen one?

i'd like to know your thoughts about them, but they are £570.00 from courtney's so i'm thinking bloody expensive :o it can't be that hard to fabricate one all i need is a good look at one and mesurements. ;)

« on: 16 February 2008, 13:57:13 »
well for a while now i've wanted a lsd  ;) and couldn't find one for the right sort of money well i've crack it sort of lol.

today see's the start of modifing a early monaro lsd which tbh looks very very similar to the miggy diff and guess what it was cheap as chips  ;D propably because there all lsd's of some degree in monaro's this ones from a vxr 500 edition :P

Q1 has any body done this yet if so how much fabrication required

Q2 and if no ones done it can anyone think of any reason why this won't work

thanks mark

Omega General Help / help me price it
« on: 09 August 2007, 13:49:36 »
to start admin this isn't a for sale thread i do need help

well here's the add but i really don't now were to price it as many of you are aware a real mv6 not a police gls spec'd mv6 in manual are a rare car

facelift 2000 w black saloon mv6 102000 miles with full vauxhall history and manual(very rare)recent new rad, water pump, cool running stat, fully reburbished alloys body work is great but not perfect theres a few niggly bits,

standard spec is xenons, full climate with dual zone control, electric windows x 4 with total closure, recaro cloth interior, auto dim rear view mirror, 17 intra stlyed genuine mv6 alloys (powdercoated in anthricite then diamond cut face absolute mint )

non standard extras, fully tinted by shade ace, irmscher front grill, uprated alpine door speakers, lowered 35 mm on progressive springs, remus slash cut back box, clear side repeaters,

now a few bad points, it has a slight blow on the drivers side exhaust manifold gasket when cold,as allready mentioned the body work is great but not perfect theres a few niggly bits and thats about it.

as i said at the start this is a real mv6 with all the genuine prodrive accessories not a police gls omega with mv6 bits.

and some pics

i did start at 4750 just to test see what was what as i haven't a clue really surley a mv6 like this is worth a few quid more than a cdx or elite of same year and condition ??

please help

wow what a conversion  :P anyway is there any chance you made a note of any part numbers on the calipers and brackets as i would love to see if i could cross reference them over here with vauxhall and someone like AP i'd love better brakes as i feel its the one thing that lets all omega's down thanks

12
firstly mike sorry i didn't ring you , wrote your number down and guess where i left it yeap on the pad doh :-[ but did see your motor very nice but no one was about , had a great day and for any one that saw my motor it was the black saloon tinted by vvoc's stand most of the day apart from when i drove round looking for friends camping else where

13
its officiall its on vboa inspected today and have decided its a go but you may end up camping else where rather than swans field (this is normally the part non vboa camping is put on the weekend) as they are moving trade stands and some smaller vboa clubs to there for the weekend.

see you sunday peeps  ;D

14
guys please be aware that vboa weekend may be postponed due to the weather and billing is very water logged, vboa have said they will inspect on wednesday and inform all vboa clubs whats happening

15
i'm coming up on the sunday morning for the day  so i'll make the effort to find some of you  :y :y

any chance of a reserved parking space let us know  :P
