definatley no wire are bare coming off the new stereo but will have a good look tomorrow at the wires that are coming from the car. will post tomorrow to let you know. thanks for your help.

hi, could someone please help? i tried to change my car stereo from the original tape cassette to a goodmans cd/mp3 player with no luck.  when i wire it to the loom that is already there it works fine but as soon as i try to slide it into the space that i took the old one out of it it blow the number 12 fuse and goes dead (the stereo not the car).  not very technically minded, so please keep it as simple as possible, lol. my car is a 1995 omega 2.5 td. thanks.
