A big Thank You to Nick for changing my leaking rocker cover & gasket.
Some may say its an easy job to do but after watching Nick I'll leave it to the professionals.
Cheers Nick.

Welcome to the Forum, from one Newbie to another 8).

That's some serious 'work in progress' going on there.
Well done for the commitment, especially in this horrible weather.
Keep up the good work  :y

Thanks for the comments. It works both ways. Trust shouldn't be a issue on the forum.
I didn't even test drive the Omega. The extra toys added to the car sold it for me :)
RobG and family were great.

Mark (The Alarming Man) has just popped round and gave his seal of approval  :y :y

I walked past it earlier, and it certainly looks smart.

You could have knocked on the door Nick  :y :y

Thanks Guys.
The car's got some Elite features added to it ( electric seats, blinds, radio 2006 etc).
And with the S button on, I can pretend it's a 2.6  :y

Now I'll have to go & look for my cassettes  ;D ;D

Keep up the good work Rob.

Hi Everyone.

I'm back again.
Big thanks to RobG!!!! Just got back home from Bristol. Long drive but made quite comfortable and enjoyable by a well looked after Omega.
Many thanks to all who remember me eg Nitro, Terbet , Essex Big Al, The Alarming Man etc.
Due to a long drive and being tired can't say too much but asap but will get back soon.

ps

Yes Ken, he did fill the boot with the contents of a small cave.
Lucky me  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

That was a great meet. Although I no longer have an
Omega, after seeing Big Al's I'm sorely tempted to get one.
It was good to see you guys after so long, and to meet some
some new owners.
Look forward to the High Wycombe meet 😎😎

In 1992 I bought my 1st automatic; a blue 4 door 2.3 Ghia Sierra. Reg: EVX 99Y.
The equipment level was great! I looked after it as best as I could at the time but when the gearbox went I had to say goodbye.
A friend had a well spec'd Cortina back in the 90's. Reg DKL 122Y. She kept that in good condition.

Thanks for the heads up.
I've just ordered my lot even though I don't normally wash my cars, but this will give me the incentive :y :y

My Missus went to Lakeside with a friend. They left Chatham at 2.30pm. She was only going to be a couple of hours cos we had to go out at 6pm but they didn't get back until 11pm!
Total lockdown everywhere.

Thanks... As you know Chris, I'm bricking it a bit :-X ::)

Was a but of an eye opener when they told me that "short of having an organ transplant, you won't go through a more serious operation"!
But I think I've come to terms with it now... Just got to see what happens on Tuesday when he operates!

I wish you all the best. You will be ok. My Wife donated a kidney to me in January and we are both doing well. Pain management is fantastic. They hook you up to morphine, so when you feel some pain just press away on that button  :y

Take care  8)
