Omega General Help / Oil light on.

The oil light on my '02 Omega 2.2 DTi has just started coming on when the engine is at normal running temp and only below 1200 rpm. It goes out above these revs. The oil is clean and to level. Has covered 89k trouble free miles. No rattles and runs as it has always has. Any ideas? Oil pressure switch maybe? :-/
