132k (I think), scary amount spent so been well looked after historically, and we'll be b*ggered if we sell a car that is not A1!

How long do you reckon before it's ready for sale?  If possible I'd like to see it, once it's finished of course.

My wife is a bit fussy about age and mileage (so why she married me is anyone's guess.  haha, ho hum.)  But I don't see a problem if the car is over 10 years old and has 150,000 motorway miles, a good service history and has been given lots of tlc.  Of which I have no doubt that it has been loved.  :)

It will go on ebay. :)

I'll keep an eye out for it.  :)

To stop my wife pestering me, can I ask what year it is?

As for our estate.. it will be a couple of weeks yet. Engine done (everything!) and running sweet. Now got to give a full clean and polish inside and out then off for new MOT.

Great car, frightening amount (in money spent) of history for it, including 2.5k lpg intall!

Is it going on eBay or planning on selling it elsewhere?  What happened to the green one if you don't mind me asking.

Regards
Mark

Welcome to the forum Yeti :)

Now it is funny you should mention LPG Omega.... ;)
Myself and Marks DTM Calib (the all knowing one) will shortly be selling a lovely Elite estate with full sequential system. :)

That sale might just coincide with my bank coughing up my bank charges within the next 7 days or so   ;D

I did buy a Citroen XM, another situation where you get a lot of car for your money, however it was a bit too much 'project' and not enough 'transportation', so it's going to be broken for eBay fodder to feed the XM fanatics.

Checked the spec and it seems that the Omega is a good 8 inches longer than the XM, so when I finally get one it'll have to go in the street because these council garages were built in the days of Ford Anglias, Minis and Hillman Avengers.    ;D

Hello all.
Looking at getting an Omega.  I found this site from a reference in laidback66's sale of a rather tidy green Elite.

Anyone have any experience with an LPG converted car?  I think it's the only way I could afford to run one tbh, but having 3 teenage kids I need a large car that they'll all fit in the back of.

Regards
Mark
