Thanks, I will check all these!

I replaced the switch, but no improvement, is there any relay or other fuses I can check or the error is in the wiring? Any ideas?

Thanks,
mbraz

no, no nise, I even took out the motors to check them and no movement at all.

4
it is manual (1-2-3) switch, can it be the switch itself, that is not working?

5
Thanks,

I will check them, but I assume it must be something else then, as none of the two are working... :(

any ideas what else should I check

Thanks,

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Headlight level adjustment
« on: 07 June 2010, 09:10:06 »
Hi All,

I would like to ask your help in the following, my headlight level adjusters are not working. I checked the connections and it seems that everything is properly connected however the engines are not moving if I spin the small wheel under the headlight switch. Can you advise me which is the fuse of the leveler and also if you have any other tips what should I check. ('97 omega, 2 liter with lens headlights)

Thanks in advance

Omega General Help / Re: Auto transmission

Just one addition, all solenoids are new (slip happened in the same way with the old ones) and ATF level is also correct. The slip comes occasionally around 50km/h speed, and seems to be an electrical issue as the whole tranny was taken into pieces and rebuilt.

I guess I need to find a place where they can read codes properly.  :)

Thanks for all the answers guys! The transmission service took it for a code reading and they say that there was no code stored, however I will take it to a different dealer and try to get the code out.

I will keep you posted!

The tranny has been rebuilt and has half a year full guarantee. Unfortunately it seems to be an electrical problem, but not sure... I was pretty happy to see the icon coming up as I thought it will give an indication what might be wrong. But then no error code was stored which seems very strange to me?!?!

Hi All,

I have a 2 liter automatic mega (1997) and I have issues with the tranny (ocasionally it slips). There were no error codes, but once the transmission went into "safe" mode and the icon showed up in the middle. After restart it disappeared. We took it to for error code reading, but no error codes were stored! I would like to ask you if you can tell me that in theory when the transmission error icon comes up for how long it stores the error code? Is it possible at all it does not store a code after restart?

Thanks for your help,

Thanks Marks!

So you mean I can go for it and will be no problem to simply exchange the two?

Omega General Help / Engine change
« on: 12 February 2008, 16:08:27 »
Hello!

Guys, does someone have any experience on the differences between a 2.2i Opel Omega engine and a 2.2i Vauxhall Omega engine. Is there any differences between the two at all or they are the same? The engine code is z22xe for both!

I have seriuos oil consumption and I was offered to buy a Vauxhall engine for a nice price with full history, the problem is that I would need some experts (hopefully YOU  :y) who confirm that I can replace my old engine with the Vauxhall one.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the quick answeres. I already tried to reset it, but it did not help. Can you explain what vacum pipes do you mean in the engine bay?

Thanks

Omega General Help / Re: air circulation
« on: 04 December 2007, 09:04:57 »
Cheers Guys!

Sorry for my english, I meant that somehow my air recirculation stuck. I can switch it on and off at the dashboard but no fresh air coming in. When I switch it off or on I can hear the servo struggling but most probably it does not open as I can not smell the smoke from outside if I am following a smokey truck. The main problem with this is that after a 10-15 min drive windows start to get wet and I can see nothing so I either switch on the aircon or open the window... I would like to ask if someone can help me to lockate this servo, as it seems pretty hard to remove the whole dashboard especially if I do not know what I am looking for...

Thanks again,
mbraz

Omega General Help / air circulation
« on: 03 December 2007, 11:00:07 »
Hy,

Can someone help me how to disassemble the vent system as the internal air circulation got stucked and in winter period I can only travel with aircon on or with open window. I changed the pollen filter it is new and I am sure that it is stucked as I tested it with traveling behind a smokey track. With no air circulation I still could not smell any smoke inside.

Thanks in advance
