I had similar leak better check first that all the black boxs screws are tight
mine was all lose then the only the pump cover gasget may leak but the
pump is tilted so it may
look that the lower gasket leaks... so better check these first

I am meanig black box cover ( electric cable
goes in via this cover )

Now if have found some pics on oldsite
in first pic the box is cirled red

http://oldsite.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1275050663/0

and in later pic you see the green green o-ring seal
and because wires get throgh that seal you really
need to unsolder the wires from metal top cover
 which you are referring .

so choices are unsolder the wires and renew the
seal or use instant gasket ??

too difficult so does it work if I loosen the screws
 ( pump in place )
and put some heat and diesel resistant silicone
 around the cover ??

Just called to Bosch diesel service about the leak.
They said that do not open the cover if opened the
pump must be adjusted , bring the pump here
they put it in bench and adjust it !

I said that only electric cable cover leaks only seal
must renew why need take the whole pump
off you just open 4 screws and renew the seal ?

He explained that to chage the seal wiring must
desolder first and then cover can be taken off
and renew the seal same time they change all
seals etc would cost about 1000 euros !

What if just loose the cover slighly and but some
glue sealt on the cover ?

« on: 20 May 2014, 06:43:14 »
Battery was flat , I forgot lights on ....
but I had another old battery in trunk so i tried with it but no charge enough to start, anyway i tried reprogram the central locking i did it in 1 and 2 positions and in another the both blink indicators flashed but doors didn't open like in omega. Then we tried to start it with another car , sterter was rolling but car didn't start we tried many times but no start,  finally i tried to reprogram the central locking again and after that car started instantly !

so what went wrong or does combo need central programming after flat battery ??

Sounds like a dry or broken joint on one of the battery pins to the PCB to me.

Don't look like it and I got 0 ohms from pins and buttons was 0 ohms too...

My keys remote stopped working so I replaced new battey but no help.

Problem is that when I push one button the led flashes but if I push another botton after that no led. If I wait about 30 secs and push the led lights again. so can't theach remote because it needs rapid open- close pushes . what would be the problem Martin renewed the buttons less than year ago ?

How hard is the nut ?
What if you drill 4mm hole in the middle of nut and then larger hole little by little until  nut is gone....?
