I've had it to my local garage today [3.0 Elite,Y reg],he couldn't locate the leak,right at the back of the engine apparantly..he's put some kinda sealant in for the time being.After a bit of a search on here,i've read it's most likely the Heater by-pass valve?Accessible under the leaf-scuttle,is that right?Don't wanna tell him how to suck eggs,but any way of saving beer-tokens n i'm all for it
Also said he couldn't get the oil filter out n it was in tight....back in the morning for another go at the filter,just wondering if the probable cause of the leak is the HBV,and is it an involved job or not.
