yeah have hand primer fitted and its not leaking from anywere, that was my first taught air leaking in and fuel returning to tank but if it starts perfect after heater light comes on, so if like clarkey said that they come on every start up i think its time to replace glow plugs. was looking at them hot start fix on ebay, are they handy to fit rob.

hello all iv a 2000 2.0 dti mega b and is hard to start in the mornings or when its after bein lying up for a while, it starts fine when below 3 degrees as thats when the heater plugs kick in, but in mild weather its hard to start, taght it was` getting air locked so changes seals and pipes but to no avail. was wondering can anyone tell me if there was a way to progam the heater plugs to come on every time u start it no matter the temperature. cheers  :)

yeah thats what i taught too, nearly have the car a hundred percent  :) only steering joints to do and tyres, are the 2.0 dtis worth much, does anyone have an opinion on them

can anyone explaine the fuel system to me on a 2.0 dti omega b please, is there a lift pump? or is it a pressure system, iv had some trouble with mine and id like to know all i need to know, thank u

fitted hand primer to fuel line and pressurised the system and found the leak off pipes leaking god dam it so fixed all that and seems to be fine now,

its strange it started and died, i opened the bung on bottom of fuel pump and there was fuel in it, im just worried now that the pump is gone

hello iv a oo 2.0 dti mega i drove it around all morning and my fuel light started to flash at me, anyway later in the day i went to get diesel and the car started for a second then cut out and now it wont start, before yea say it i but diesel into it thinking it was that but still no fuel coming out the lines  >:( please help please please help

i think its sorted
, it started no bother this mornin, so it must have been the dodgy plumbing on the inline filter  :) :y cheers for the help gonna replace filter and seals just to be safe

its def drawing air into the system overnight as it was very hard to start this mornin it was as if it wa s air locked

checked the lines and there was no leaks but i found a after market inline filter put into fuel line and i refitted it to see if that was the prob and were about is the relay for the fuel heater, thanks

hello all please help iv a 00 2.0 dti omega and its hard to start in the mornings, found out that the pre heating system doesnt kick in until under tree degrees, im thinking its leak back but would love to here suggestions  :)
