2nd post,

Right im confused as anything regarding the limited slip diff options on an omega.

What ratios were available?
What rate locking were they?
Im assuming they were all one way diffs and no 1.5/2way diffs were availible?

Basicly im looking for a differential that would fit a 2.5TD omega B, preferably 2 way, and with a very high locking rate.

Just realy looking for options other than welding the diff up, as the car would be spending 98% of its time on the road doing silly miles on courier runs, and only about 2% up at pod on the drift days. Make it a bit more pleasant at low speed in carparks and such  :y

Hi,

Names Iain, im a courier driver for a living which is what brings me here.

Decided that theres no point in having another uncomfortable, underpowered and noisy van when i can lug all i need to in a large estate car, which will be better to drive & cost less to insure and probbably about the same to run!

Why the omega? well the availibilty, the 2.5TD engine, fitting cruise control doesnt cost £495, cheap insurance, comfort - and RWD..probbably get a bit of stick for mentioning it, but quite enjoy drifting and wouldnt mind running it up at DWYB santa pod occasionally

Look forward to talking to you guys  :y

Iain
