I took it for a good drive today and its great! nice and smooth and enough grunt. deceptively quick for a big lump! I can only imagine what the 3.0's are like (my dad never did much other than slow cruise, though im pretty similar these days!)
Already booked a cambelt and tensioner change for when it hits 120,000 with the usual oil n filter etc. Its got a pretty concise history too so happy days!

Newbie Welcome Area / Hi all

Another newbie! Collecting a 2.2 CDX Estate tomorrow (51 reg) as my old motor went pop and i was inspired by the fact one of my dads older cars, and still one of his favorite ones, was a 3.0 Elite saloon. Loved that car so thought id try one myself.
Mines a high mileage but has very good service history and someone must have loved it cause its pretty clean for the miles (113,000). Its had cam belts regularly replaced etc so fingers crossed it will last me a bit.
First stop poxy stereo code, but seen the link to DND so may well go that route.
