our mv6 was loosing fuel alarmingly ..turns out the "new" fuel filter we fitted had a leak on the seam...could be worth while checking that?

wow.. :D plenty of responses (ALTHO WITH THIS EXCELLENT SITE I WOULDNT EXPECT ANYTHING LESS)
oopps caps lock,sorry  :-[
ive been tempted by an lpg conversion but im not that capable with the tools to do such a large job!
Hence the thinking behind a diesel  :o..Love the mv6 especially in the manual form we have, just dont honestly
know if i can justify the running costs of it anymore  :(Its the first car we have oqned in a long time that actually puts a big smile on my face why driven..love it
anyone have any suggestions lol?

If you're capable of DIY work you could LPG your current car for much less than the BIN on that ;) And then have DTi economy with V6 performance and fun :D
ive looked into lpg and was shocked at the cost of conversion  :'( i know my way around tools but not well enough to attempt a conversion..

are they really that much cheaper to run fuel wise than our well looked after and maintained mv6?

« on: 13 August 2012, 19:44:25 »
Thank for the replies guys, have been offered a full cat back system for £60 :y :y
Just not sure if it's the way to go?...have use of ramps etc and plenty of knowledge to fit the system. And since ours needs a drivers side centre section I thought it maybe worth while...
