So do I need to change ecu and key chip aswell, the engine from the 2000 dti will be going in with the fuel pump from the 2000 dti??

Hi all,
I know this isn't omega related but was looking for some help with the mrs car!
Recently a van has crashed into my wife's 2000 Astra 2.0dti and written it off, the car had done really low mileage and engine was really good, I have bought the car back from the insurance company and also bought a 2001 Astra 2.0 dti with a knackered engine.
I'm planning on swapping the engines but not sure what I need to do about chipped key, transponder on the fuel pump and the ecu etc?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks vxl v6 hopefully this snow will clear within a couple of days and I'll be able to get under the bonnet and have a good look! Is there an easy way of checking the vac pipes or will it just be a fine tooth comb jobby?

Just to add, 173,000 on the clock and also has a snapped glow plug if that would make any difference? Thanks

Hi all, another newbie to the forum!
I've just bought my omega and over the last few days it's developed a bit of a flat spot just as it comes on boost and then feels like its holding back on power slightly.
Any help is much appreciated!!
