Martin Imber was the man, but I've not seen him on the forum for a while. I trust he is OK

Thanks for that mate. I've found Martin's website with all the repair details. I'll contact him straight away!

Omega General Help / Key Fob Repairable??
« on: 04 March 2012, 12:04:03 »
I've noticed my key fob playing up recently - can't open the doors with it or even lock them now!
Are the fobs repairable?
I've taken one of mine apart (photo below) it seems the little button piece has fallen off!!
The one that locks the doors is still attached but doesn't work. Only the boot opening one does. The little red light works as well.
Any help/advice would be most appreciated.
Ta very much.

Hi Everyone,
I'm new on here, only found this site recently so decided to join up. :y
I've owned my first Omega since last November, brought it from a local dealer near to me.
It's a 2000 Y-plate 2.5 CD Auto, with just over 87,000 miles recorded. It came with a fairly decent service history, and I'm the fifth owner. I've had it serviced and all seems to be ok.
Must say it eats up the motorway miles with ease, and I'm enjoying owning it.
I'll pop up some pics as and when.
Cheers,
Kevin.
