Omega General Help / Misfire?
« on: 14 July 2013, 11:29:01 »
Hi, When I accelerate at low revs the car seems to misfire, I have changed plugs, air filter and petrol filter, when I was under it I noticed that a couple of wires had been pulled of the exhaust sensor, could this be the problem?
When car starts to misfire if I drop it down a gear and give it some revs, its fine apart from being expensive on juice.
Any ideas?
Andy

Omega General Help / HELP Petrol filter
« on: 13 July 2013, 21:11:27 »
Hi there, I have just tried to change my petrol filter, when I removed the old one the plastic ring came out on the old filter, when I tried to fit the new one it wouldn't click into place after a lot of messing around I have managed to split the o ring. Has anyone got a fix for this or any idea how I can bodge it up or repair it?

The climate control is always on auto in mine, as if I have it on eco the windscreen mists up. Ok the fan can be a bit noisy but it soon settles down, also just found out if you set temp on drivers side and press button twice it sets passenger side to same temp.

Omega General Help / Exhaust System Replacement
« on: 15 July 2012, 18:24:00 »
I am going to replace the exhaust from the cat back, has anyone got any tips to make the job easier?
Just had a new cat fitted for £265, now they want £275 for back sections, but I can get it for £127 if I fit it myself from a well known auction site.

If it rains today, it's all my fault. Spent 4 hours washing and cleaning car inside and out.
Only a matter of time before it rains. :(

As a newbie I find OOF invaluble, I love just reading random posts. I think it's so good you dont realise what you have here, it's a pity more forums dont live up to this standard.
No matter what club / group your'e in there is always a group of whingers and mumpers.
Don't let the ba*#$rds grind you down. :y :y

What do you need turning? I work in an engineering shop and have loads of stainless bar and a small amount of titanium, if its only small I could post it to you

Had the same problem and it was the 10A fuse on the radio :y

Just a warning, don't do what I have just done, try replacing the vent bulb with the lights on or it will blow the 10A fuse. :'(

Hi, the spare key I got with my Miggy has had the battery tray ripped out.
If I buy a key off Ebay is it easy enough to take the tray out and re solder it into mine?
I thought I would be able to re code the new key but I have been reading up earlier posts and sounds like a mare
