Omega General Help / Re: outside edge tyre wear
« on: 11 March 2009, 15:41:32 »

Personally, I'd be making a bee-line for the nearest reputable four-head wheel alignment specialists.

You've either got excessive toe-in and/or over-camber.
You should be able to get the settings corrected for less than the cost of a new tyre!
Then get a new pair of tyres fitted.

trying to find one in hull anybody from my neck of the woods,, found an used one ??? did have tyres changed,,, an they supposidly checked an they said it was ok yerr right,,

Omega General Help / air con

while we had that rain  :'( the other month. it seems my brother the little so an so took great pleasure in drivin my miggy thro the deepest puddles he could find. an now the aircon/climate has stopped working it  tho i do remeber it working before. there are no drops in the engine revs when i turn it on tho it does blow air that is slightly cold but not as cold as i remeber it tbh i normaly have the windows open cos never had a car with it before. having looked in the engine bay the pump/compressor  what ever you wanna call it  is turning but the front with 3 bolts on it is not(will make sence to someone). so has he stuffed it up or is it something that can be changed by me. checked for blown fuses none found. but is there an electric switch or sumthing that engages the other half of the pump clutch  never was any good at explaining stuff. any help  :P :-X

right so i drive round a fair bit in my town of Hull or `Ull` :y if you live there. and have you noticed that when you change your car you start to see loads of the make/model you are driving that you did`nt see before you got one if that make`s sence :o. any way  i tend to see more 2.0l 16v`s than any other miggy model in my town. thb i think hull is the 2.0l capital of miggy owners  wierd or is it?? i reckon its cos i got a 2.0l  :y but to date not seen a 3.0l or a2.5l unless they have debadged em  :-X
