Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Stange speaker problem
« on: 22 April 2013, 13:06:48 »
I'll take a multimeter tonight to see if there are any shorts in the line. I tried the other (spare) radio with the last speaker disconnected , but it still didn't work. I'll see what i can find tonight , maybe I can get a external soundsignal over the speakers, one by one. I'll let you guys know!

Get the bulb out , if the little xenon ball is black , your light has gone.(Unfortunally)

No , there is nothing from Bose installed. Got the original radio replaced a while ago for a MP3 one.
Tried another radio yesterday but the same result....? Does the car have any electronics which could
block the signal to the speakers maybe?
Thanks for your reply

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Stange speaker problem
« on: 22 April 2013, 10:01:42 »
Good morning all!
Changed my front speakers yesterday for better (Kenwood) ones. After replacing the driverside , there was still music
coming from all speakers (new one included). After changing the passengerside there is no sound at all. All speakers
seem to be dead , only the line-out to my subwoofer works. And that gives a stange kind of music  ;D
Does anyone know where to look for any problems? Or a way to check the speakers one by one?
Thanks in advance!

Well , cleaned out the trottlebody today , replaced all lines/tubes connected.
Measured the MAF and foud something strange...maybe you could help me out here..
Got a MAF with 4 connectors , 1 till 3 have "X" kOhms and 4 has none/unlimited..tells me there is a
connection lost/broken. Don't know how they pair inside the MAF , tried all possible but connector 4 gives
no ohm's back.. Connector on the car says (with contact on/car not running) 1- 4.96V / 2- 0V / 3- 0V / 4- 12.09V
The cars also starts with some trouble , which it has never done before the trouble started..
Hope you can help! Thanks in advance

Sorry for the very late reply , but all thanks for your advice  :y
I'll check the MAF later today for "dirt" and will try to clean with alcohol (got that at work)
Better worth trying before spending lots of money..
This morning however it started fast (normally not) but it ran really bad..
Got the codes P0170 and P0302 now... The MAF codes are gone. I'll see what happens
later today on the way home...Wish me luck  ;)

Thanks Maurice

Thanks for the link , but was allready aware of the codes  :y
It's either the throttlebody or the air mass meter , but not sure..
Nobody ever had those three codes together?

Omega General Help / Spannerlight and errorcodes, please advise!
« on: 04 October 2012, 11:56:23 »
Good afternoon all!
Got the following errorcodes on my 2.2i/Z22XE ; P1555 , P0100 , P0110.
Cleaned the throtlebody more then once yet , getting poor on gaskets  ;)
Has anyone got some good advice what to check or replace before i spend
lots of euros on parts that aren't faulty afterwards...I suspect the air mass meter,
but not sure. Some say it could be the cam sensor..?!
Thanks in advance!
