thanks for the reply

i have the performance figures as 2.5v6 is 170bhp and the 3.0 210bhp ish while i have been ignoring all the 2.5s that i come across is there much of a difference in performance on the road and what are the problems omegas have, what should i watch out for when i inspect them.

edit* i know i want a prefacelift model (prefer the look) do the mini facelift models (98-99) have better engines or upgrades or something

Omega General Help / mv6 or elite
« on: 14 August 2007, 13:52:47 »
hi

i have just started looking for an omega, ideally an mv6 estate manual and not white and was wondering if there was an diffrence apart from trim between the elite (3 litre) and the mv6 as there is much more choice in the elite version but i dont want soft suspension or better fuel economy and the elite seems much better equipped

General Discussion Area / how big is the boot
« on: 27 August 2007, 22:36:39 »
in a omega saloon.
while i would expect it to be gargantuan but as i want to fit or buy one with lpg i am worried about space.
i made the mistake of assuming the boot was big enough when i bought the astra (had a 306 before which was ok boot wise)but when i got home to my shock i couldnt fit golf clubs in properly as the boot isnt wide enough...what do the golfers out there reckon..(i could get 3 sets with trollies in my old xr3i)

I think I know what he's trying to do,

Ebay take a percentage of the final auction price but don't take a percentage of any costs ie; postage and packing, so if the guy is wanting for example £1200 for the car, he sets his postage high (£900.00) knowing that the maximum a buyer will bid is £200-300, so ebay only take a percentage of £200-300 and he get £900.00 in his pocket auction fee free :y

Surely this sort of thing would have been checked by ebay before allowing the listing maybe wrong as ive never sold things on ebay before.
It's perfectly legal, on the listing on ebay for everone to see, it clearly states the postage costs, and anyone who bids on the item is agreeing with any costs by bidding

All I can say is ouch for whoever wins it, I would have thought the bidders would have questioned the postage though.

dont get it delivered, dont pay £900...simple

gold is a bit of an old man colour (dont mean to offend any gold car drivers ;))
Will look nice with a good polish  :)

I find all that wood a bit fierce though  :o I think the wood on migs makes them look a bit dated now but i've been looking at getting some facelift trim refinished by a company we deal with at work for plastic coatings etc.

i would rather have black plastic than the wood..isnt there any aftermarket stuff thats tasteful without chaving it up
