Omega General Help / 2.2 Dti not starting

Hi guys im hoping someone can help me. My 2.2 Dti is not starting.
When i bought the car last year there wasn't any glow plug symbol on the dash so i would just wait a few seconds then fire her up first time every time.
Now there is!!
It stays on for around 6 seconds but no joy with starting.
I've tried turning the ignition on and off quite a few time's to see if this helps but again nothing.
I thought it might be the fuel return pipe leaking and letting air in so left her cranking for a long time to see if it would bring the fuel back through but again nothing.
Does this mean its glow plugs or a relay?
